Urshi Falls
Usri Falls is located on Tundi Road of Giridih district. 13 km east of the township, Usri Falls is one of the demanded picnic spots of the state. The river separates into three different streams, as the river falls down 40 feet deep gorge. Impenetrable forest of Parasnath Hills covers the surrounding of Usri Falls. Gushing down of the river amidst the Parasnath Hills is a mesmerising scenic view.
Jharkhand Dham
Also known as Jharkhandi is a temple of Lord Shiva and significant pilgrim center, located near Dhanwar in Giridih District, Jharkhand. It is approximately 55 km from Giridih and 10 km from Rajdhanwar. A unique feature of this place is buildings, which are roofless. There is a temple devoted to Lord Shiva, where an annual fair takes place.
Khandoli Dam
Khandoli is one of the attractive tourist spots for adventure seekers situated in Jharkhand. Located 10 km North East of Giridih, Khandoli dam is a water reservoir that is noted for various water sports and adventure activities. Bird enthusiasts also have innumerable species to explore. Entire Khandoli site is widely visible through a watch tower and hillock, which has a height of 600 ft. Travellers here can enjoy boating, mountaineering, rock-climbing, parasailing and kayaking apart from the elephant and camel safaris.
Madhuban
Madhuban is one of the tourist attractions among several places to visit in Giridih district of Jharkhand. It is a village where a temple, more than 2000 years old, is believed to exist. It lies in Pirtland Block and is a religious site for Jains. Samosharan temple and Bhomiyaji Asthan are the most important Jain temples in Madhuban.
Pareshnath Hill
Parasnath Hills or Sri Sammeta Shikharji is located around 4480 m above sea level. They are a range of hills in Giridih whose highest peak is 1350 m high. It is not only the highest mountain peak in Jharkhand but also the highest mountain in the southern part of the Himalayas.
Harihar Dham
Harihar Dham temple, commonly known as Harihar Dham located in Giridih, of the states Jharkhand has the distinction of having the biggest Shivalinga in the world.
Kharagdiha
Kharagdiha, a village near Giridih, is popular for the Langta Baba Samadhi Sthal. Langta Baba was a saint who was worshipped by the local people as god. A Surya temple is situated in the middle of a lake in the shape of a lotus near Kharagdiha.
Sri Kabir Gyan Mandir
Sri Kabir Gyan Mandir in Sihodih, some 2 km from Giridih headquarters, Founded in 1985, a motivational institution is headed by Sadguru Maa Gyan which spreads the message of Sant Kabir and Sanatan Dharma. It has a sacred temple Guru Govind Dham having a beautiful idol of Sant Kabir and Lord Vishnu. It also has Kabir Gyan Darshan with worth to watch murals and paintings based on life of Sant Kabir, Vedas, Morality and paintings of famous Saints of India.
Surya Mandir
Surya Mandir is located in Mirzaganj, 33 km from Giridih Town. It is built in the middle of a lake in the shape of a Lotus flower. Pilgrims can visit here while returning from Langta Baba Samadhi. The temple has been declared Monument of National importance and is maintained by Archaeological Survey of India.
